FAQ

Need some help?

FAQ pages are self-service support hubs that give people the ability to get an answer quickly and independently. Here are some of the benefits of having an excellent FAQ section.

  • Where can I download it?

To download the NAVIE App go to the App Store or the Google Play Store and search for the “NAVIE” or “NAVIE E-Bike navigation” and then install the application.

  • Which operating system/phones are supported?

The Navie app is officially supported on the following operating system versions:

    iOS: version 17 and above

    Android: version 11 and above

The app may also work on lower OS versions, but these are not officially supported and may not provide full functionality or stability.

  • Do I need an internet connection while I’m using the NAVIE App?

    Not necessarily.
Navie works with online maps by default, which means it downloads map data while you ride — so an internet connection is needed for that.

However, you can also download maps and use them offline.
When offline maps are available, Navie will use them automatically, so you can ride even without an internet connection.

For the first setup, you’ll need an internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) to:

Download offline maps of your country.

Purchase or activate any additional packages

Once you have downloaded the map data you need, an internet connection is no longer required — the app can run completely offline.

  • Do I need to enable background access to the App?

Yes, if you would like the ride tracking to work. Your phone will prompt you to enable background access. You can choose to enable background access all the time, or just while using the app. If you are only allowing background access while using the app, you will need to remember to open the app before your bike will connect with it. If you deny background access, then range calculation and ride tracking will not work properly.

  • Why are Bluetooth permissions requested in the app?

Bluetooth permissions are needed for the app to connect & interact with the bike.

  • Can I change units of measurement?

Yes, just go to the settings and tap on the system settings where you can choose the Imperial or Metric units.

  • In which countries is the app available?

    All over the world.

  • Which languages are supported by the app?

German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Hungarian and Dutch are supported at this time.

  • Do I need to create an account?

You can create an account using your email address, but you can use the existing Apple, Facebook or Google Account to log in or create an account using Facebook, Google or AppleID.
